Marc-Andre Cournoyer Joins Standout Jobs
We’re very pleased to announce that we’ve hired our first employee.
Marc-Andre Cournoyer will be employee #1 at Standout Jobs. He’s our first Ruby Guru.
Marc-Andre saw our video job ad and applied in a fun, unique way - sending in a script of code that led us to his online resume. He’s an active participant in the open source community and a prolific developer of side projects.
Marc-Andre is also an entrepreneur-in-the-making. I have no doubt in the years to come that Marc-Andre will start his own companies, and hopefully his experience with Standout Jobs will help prepare him for that. His interest in entrepreneurship is demonstrated through what he learns and reads; it’s not just about code and development, but about business and life as well.
