SearchAnyway is looking for a senior programmer.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and understanding of IT practices with particular concentration on programming and testing methodologies. Technical Requirements
- Experience in applying structured methodologies in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience and intimate knowledge with the following systems:
- C
- C++
- Unix environment (linux or freebsd)
- Sockets (in the unix environment)
- Assembly (in the context of the unix environment and C++)
- Database Development
- Thread Programming (in the context of the unix environment and C++)
- Experience debugging programs using core dump files generated in unix type operating systems
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
The following are not required but their knowledge is highly recommended:
- PHP
- perl
- shell script
- mysql
- Windows programming
Personal Qualifications
- College or University Degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum 4 years post-University work experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude
- Natural leader able to work on several projects concurrently with a proven track record for successfully meeting deadlines
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
